[8-March-2009] Sepang Goldcoast

Trace~ at Sepang Goldcoast... my last portrait session for a while… as I just sold off my camera.

We sped off from Subang jaya to destination on 7.30am and reached around 8.30, we had our breakfast at a Malay shop before shooting and took a moment to observe the surrounding… which is nothing much… lol.

We called for a small group this time, too tired to held big group shooting. Shooter: Brian, Sean. Model: Trace and late comer JY.

Trace is a very lovely model to work with, she got her blog @ http://tracyem.blogspot.com.

I didn’t shoot much again this time was soak in sadness about to part with my camera… and I assume. Hahaha.

Anyway I got few that I really like, as usual I go for quality instead of quantity. lol.

I would not know when I can afford a new camera… unless I get a better paid job or I get a huge discount in the legal fee for my house. But nevertheless, I still will be helping out in any upcoming session. So anybody that would like their photo taken for free, drop me a msg.

[1-March-2009] Bukit Jalil Park

Went to extract my wisdom tooth… *sweat*, recovered 90% now. Keke.

Without further delay… here’s the outcome of March’s group session.

This was a very challenging session for me to organize as a lot unforeseen circumstances occurred. But at the end we got 9 photogs with 3 models. *puff*

Since JY is also MIA~!!! I asked a few beginner to come along for this shooting as well, there’s no sifu sifu here and there, we all just shoot together and learn through the process, so I feel that’s it’s always good to have some trusted new blood joining us.

The models are Amanda, May and Cristine… *cough*

We started around 9.00am and ended around 12pm, the park is swamped with people in the morning. At around 10.30am the crowd is lesser.

The park is either huge or I am old… can’t catch my breath after walking over 2 hills via staircase. *cough*

The theme was initially “Wild and Sexy” but with the models being changed, the theme doesn’t seem to stick as well, furthermore with the amount of photogs… it further “confused” the theme. Will try to have another shot with theme... If it doesn’t work out… time for PLAN B. muahahaha.

[22-Feb-2009] Private Shooting Session

Did a shooting for a friend's friend, Joeyi, which turn out that... it is a small world. Guess that we all are connected in 7~ degree. keke.

In short, we got Joeyi, Khailee and Mandy as models.
JY and myself as photogs. Ethan as JY's personal flash consultant...

It was Sunday 22-Feb-09, we meet up at Kota Damansara’s coffee shop and had breakfast together… Well… to be precise the models were making up at their makeup-artist’s place and we started off eating while waiting. Than when they arrived, we crossed over the road and accompanied them eat in a much “high class” place than coffee shop cos they’re in their cheongsam…

After we are done with breaky, we sped off in Khailee’s car (nice car) to Desa City Park just to be told that we need approval to shoot there. Than we moved to TTDI… (I’m going to ship this part) than finally we landed at the park just beside IKEA and start shooting.

JY grabbed Joeyi and run away. I was left with Khailee… so I took more of Khailee during this session.

Khailee is great to work with, she felt a bit unnatural and tense at the beginning… like everybody else at the start… than I think it went rather well.

Ethan joined in later follow by Mandy.

We shoot till the sky seems gloomy wanna rain and we stopped for some group shots before breaking up the session for lunch.

We can't decide whether we want to continue shooting after lunch b'cos we don't have any location in mind to continue at since it's going to rain.

Finally we end up at JY’s sister condo..... nice place. (His sister is a pretty interior designer.)

We ended the session around 5pm… *puff* where everybody is tired and exhausted. Nevertheless it was a nice shooting; it’s my pleasure to be working with Khailee, Joeyi and little bit with Mandy. :P And as always JY is always a good shoot partner to have beside.

Looking forward with this coming Sunday's shooting~

Retro and Casual Shoot

This is our fourth shoot group outing. We are suppose to have Mi Mi and Lily as models initially however we forget that
it is “Chap Gor Meh” on the next day and Lily have to go back to hometown, Johor, for dinner.

So due to last minute changes we nearly postponed this, but luckily BK have 2 models that’s interested in joining the sessions so Beth and Lynn came into the picture.

However due to the short notice, our initial theme of Retro dun stick anymore. But’s it’s still a nice outing nevertheless.
